ตาล: Taam juice

This is the fruit once removed from the husk.



A sweet, watery nectar extracted from a palm tree. Pronounced /Taam/. It tastes similar to maple syrup with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste & the same sweetness as sugarcane juice. The fruit has the texture of coconut meat.
